Catman and I are hooking up for dinner on Friday, April 6 and all are invited. We'll probably meet first at the Embassy Suites in Parsippany and then venture out to dine somewhere nearby such as Don Pepe's, SageBrush or any other suitable dining establishment.

I would also love to give Forno's another try over that weekend (Saturday or Sunday), especially given the fact that so many people couldn't attend last time and they wouldn't let us in. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif I have booked a room on Saturday at the EWR Hilton, just in case we can put something together.

I might be able to make it. I'm busy in the city until that day, and I'm not sure of my schedule at that point. But I'm going to try!

Now that I am back in PDX and staying put for a few days, I just wanted to take stock of who can party next week and which day would be best. If you can make it one day and not the other, I would suggest trying for Saturday near EWR. If nobody can make it on Friday, then Catman and I will still hook up. Also, I have a room booked at the EWR Hilton on Saturday night that includes seven days of parking. I am planning to check out on Sunday so I would think that I should be able to offer my space to anyone who could take advantage of it. Is anyone flying out of EWR on or after April 8 that needs a place to park for a few days?

I'm still unsure of my schedule. I definitely would love to make one or both of these. I will know for sure as we get closer to the date.

Also, we were planning to head over to SageBrush (42 oz Sam Adams for Catman http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif) but, if I remember correctly, that restaurant is not on your "A" list. So, if you have other preferences, we'll happily go whereever you point us.

I'm booked at the Westin Morristown on Friday night at a $69 AAA rate. I'm confirmed at this point for Friday, and a very possible maybe for Saturday depending on how my week goes. Have we picked restaurants yet?

On Friday, the confirmed group currently consists of you, me, Catman, Kitty Hawk and nj_flyer. Catman and I were planning to go to SageBrush if nobody else showed up but now I'll just solicit preferences.

Do you have any restaurants in mind? The only constraints are that Friday's choice will be somewhere in the Parsippany/Morris Plains vicinity and Saturday will be somewhere near EWR.

For Friday, The SageBrush sounds good. I've never been there, but from Zagat's, it looks like a Tex-Mex/Steakhouse, which sounds great.

For Sat, I'm open to what you suggest, and I might not even make it, depending on what my weekend schedule looks like. My birthday is this Wednesday, the 4th, so my parents might want me home for dinner on Saturday. I'll let you know as the week progresses.
