Weather forecast is not looking so great. Bangor area is expecting 3-5 of snow during the day and an additional 1-3 overnight with ice. I'm hoping things improve over the next week. My schedule is clear, provided that Mother Nature cooperates.

Snow for Saturday has changed to freezing rain. Unless things change to be less icky, I won't be able to make it. Not that I don't want to meet everyone, 2 hours driving in freezing rain would be absolutely miserable.

Yeah I'm afraid I'm in the same boat - the way they're talking right now, traveling over most of the state will be a icy mess. Drat! I was 100% good to go, too.

I will have to back out as well. I live in the Oxford Hills area and the drive could be tough. Sorry.

Sorry to hear that! Stay safe out there.

I conferred with my friend and we will sally forth unless the venue closes (can't really reschedule at this point). I think we will keep it on a bimonthly basis so the next should be in March!

According to WeatherUnderground, we're going to see mostly rain with a bit of mixed snow/ice around noon, finishing up by 1pm or so.

Unless it turns out dramatically worse, I'll be there.
