PRE DO in Sydney has been cancelled due to unpopular demand.

DO SCHEDULE HAS BEEN UPDATED DUE TO LAST MINUTE RESTAURANT CHANGES

CHANGES ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN BOLD

Main Do: Singapore, 12-14 Jan 2018

Friday, the 12th Jan 2018
- Arrival into Singapore
- Welcome drinks at La Taperia Wine Bar, 1 Scotts Road, 1700 - 2100 (Approx $55 per person)
- Welcome dinner at Newton Hawker Centre, 2130 - Late (Approx $35 per person)
- Afterparty at someone's place

Saturday, the 13th Jan 2018
- Rise and Shine
- Morning hike at Macritchie Reservoir, 0830 - 1030
- Main DO lunch at Jiang-Nan Chun, Four Seasons Singapore, 190 Orchard Road, 1230 - 1430 (Approx $60 per person)
- Afternoon activity: Singapore oenological bar hop, 1430 - 2000
- Main DO dinner at Jumbo Seafood East Coast, 1206 East Coast Parkway 2030 - Late (Approx $80 per person)
- Afterparty at someone's place

Sunday, the 14th Jan 2018
- Rise and Shine
- Morning hike at botanic gardens, 0830 - 1030
- Farewell lunch at Liao Fan Hawker Chan, 78 Smith Street, 1230 - 1430
- Home Sweet Home

Local Ang Mo, will be around that weekend. Looking to meet up for a dinner and after party Saturday. Bschaff1 gifted me a bottle of J.D. after last year's do, so I will bring a bottle of something for the afterparty. Maybe some durian too, ya'll like durian, right?

I will be coming by MRT, so I am pretty much guaranteed in last place in any such contest

Maybe I will hire a limo just to beat any other locals at least

there was a sign on an elevator I once saw. It was durian fruit in a red circle with line over it. My husband said... hey look, no hedgehogs in the room. I replied.. it's a durian fruit you moron!

Sudden recurrence of cardiac problems means that I will be
enduring less pleasant accommodations and provisions than
the rest of you: please reguster my envy and disappointment.
I had nonrefundable res at the Conrad for the 12th and 13th and
the 20th and 21st, so if anyone can make use of these rooms
and can tell my how to change the reservations, let me know.
No guarantees, and people I know only.

I expressed some interest in this DO early in the piece but am not in a position to attend this year. Hopefully normal service will resume next year.
