Boarded the flight down to SYD just now, thanks so much for your efforts in getting a plan going Itsalongwaydown, it was great to see old FT friends and make a few new ones!
Hope to see you all again - some I know will be considerably sooner than others.

Not sure what I was doing going to sunrise beach when I was set to arrive at sunset. Nice view either way. Got a little lost on the way back walking down dark streets without sidewslks. Finally found a bus stop, now on the way to Hastings street

Thanks to Itsalongwaydown and the organising committee for another wonderful OzFest.
We took the scenic beaches route down to Brisbane earlier today and then battled the congestion on the M1 again. My wife, daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new friends. Looking forward to next year.

Another great Ozfest concluded. Thanks to all involved, but mostly itsalongwaydown for putting it all together. The restaurant choices were outstanding and the zoo was great.
Happy travels to all, and see you at the next Ozfest.

hear hear, my thanks as well to @Itsalongwaydown and all of the supporting cast. Despite not feeling very social myself I got to meet several very interesting folks and got to see lots of very interesting things.

Also, thanks to everyone who came along to enjoy our lovely Sunshine Coast!
Dinner venues both days were great! Lovely pasta at Zachary's, and the Bistro C spaghetti seafood was the most succulent I have had!
Despite being a local, it was only my 2nd visit to Australia Zoo - they have a surprising collection of regional and exotic species.
Am looking forward to catching up with all the old friends and new ones again
Cheers

Another great Oz Fest. I got to cuddle a crocodile (baby one), koala, and a kangaroo. I’m enjoying the Premium Plaza lounge at BNE, then flying to AKL on China Airlines which would be my first flight in premium economy. I’ll be in New Zealand (Auckland and Queenstown) through Saturday. Then fly to New York for the Wine Do. Safe travels to all.

Thanks to (mainly) Bill for organising!! Ok....I'll bite first. Where will Oz Fest 16 be? I think we have just about exhausted all Australian cities / places, and unless we want to go to regional centres (eg Broome, Launceston, Kalgoorlie, Hamilton Island etc), we either need to revisit the main Australian cities again or consider NZ eg Christchurch, Queenstown. My 2c.
