VFT LX 77W inaugural flight event 7./8. Feb. VFT LHR/BSL Fasnacht DO 12.-15. Feb. ;) |
LX can keep their 10-abreast squeezecans all for themselves :D
Chienbäse is the better Fasnacht anyway ;) And VFT? No, thank you very much, but I don't like to be part of something where the owner always finds "reasons" to ban people based on personal grudges.. |
Really? Is it as bad as that? I always felt that I should get more involved with VFT.

I have Friday 19th March down in my calendar and will do my best to keep that evening free. Will you be there, goliath?
|
Unfortunately (or rather: fortunately ) I will be missing the next two Stammtisch dates in March and April as I will be on holiday on both occasions. But I have marked May, 27 in my calendar already. ^
|
May 27 is frantic, my head will be disappearing up somewhere it would rather not go! Although the evening is still clear, with the flute exams the next morning plus dozens of other things going on I think it is very unlikely I will make the 27th May. Next one after, perhaps.

Seems to be quite the crowd on March 18th! We are going to Restaurant Jägerburg, which is a very Swiss restaurant, judging by the menu!

Turns out my travel schedule changed and I will be in ZRH on March 18 flying home. Is it too late to sign up? |

It looks really good. It stands firm in my diary. I just have to somehow make it to Sion by 10h the next morning.

Well, I put you on the list here, but the real organiser is danix in VFT. But We are still a month away, so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.
Should I post on the thread on VFT? I'm afraid my German hasn't improved much in the last few months :o |

Hehe, the train takes around 2 1/2 hours... so it will shorten the night a bit for you ;) |
Just a couple of days until we get some decent Cordon Bleu! Looking forward to seeing new and old faces!
|
Hi Flospi,
I won't be able to make it, a last minute change of plans unfortunately. Hope to make it next time! |

Hi Flopsi,
I'm a last minute remaining - in-Zürich and would love to join - maybe even take a recently vacated spot? :) SBM |

I'm down with a sore throat and hellish cough, so I hope I can make Friday. Normally, I would expect to have recovered a bit by then.

Yeah, I'll make it there tomorrow night. Just about through with this thing, although the coughing was awful.
|
Zurich Stammtisch / regular table
I'm on the beer already. Pink jacket, beige jeans, behind the bar.
|
Hi Flospi,
Which bar? My strategy of approaching random people with Rimowa cases was perhaps not thought out at a transportation hub... Oriental girl in leather jacket and insanely long hair. SBM |
Zurich Stammtisch / regular table
In the Brasserie Federal at the Hall in the Main Station.
|
For the April 22nd, I was thinking on trying to take the train back Friday night, as I have a training on Saturday and I can save money on hotel. There's a train leaving Zurich at 22:09 that I'll try to catch. That should leave enough time for dinner.
|
You've got to really watch out that you leave enough time for the trek back to the station, with a little margin built in. Unlike the way I did it, you need to start your goodbyes a bit earlier. The other tip is, assuming you'll be eating at the same place or in the same part of town, is to try and aim for the middle cross underpassage of the station rather than heading all the way down to the front of the station. This is a passage that crosses under about halfway up the platforms and leads over to Sihlquai.
Unfortunately there is no way I'll make the 22nd April because I have to conduct a performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Geneva that night. |

Thanks. Unfortunately if I miss that train the next train won't be until 6 in the morning. :o I'll make sure to keep my time padded. |

Alas I'll be in Brazil on 22nd April so also a no from me. I had a great time though and hope to join in May :) |
Yes and it was very nice of you to invite me along to it. I just wish I could have stayed for longer!
I, too, can't make the 22nd, or the one after that (27th May if I remember correctly). |
I definitely can't make the next two (April and May), but put me down for a maybe in June please.
|
dinoscool, if worst would come to worst on the 22nd, you could crash my place in Schwyz. Would be a bit a detour, but at least no need to pay a hotel :-)

Thanks, if I miss the train I may take you up on that! |
Here we go again... Meeting at 19:00 (or earlier) under the blue angel or behind the bar in the Brasserie Fédéral. Then at 20:00 at Ristorante Toscano in Niederdorf.
Looking forward to meeting you! |
Update to the first post! Hopefully I get some more feedback and registrations from you guys :-)
|
August 19th I might be able to participate
|
I have to withdraw from the 17th June because I will be at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. But I will come along when I can.
