SIN Dinner and Drinks 5th July 2014
I will be hosting a Drinks Session followed by a Dinner on the 5th of July in SIN.
Tentative location for Drinks will be the Sky Bar at Ion, restaurant of our favourite chef Luke Mangan
Dinner will be at Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck, at Paragon.
Anyone and everyone are welcome. Just RSVP in the thread below.
As usual, the normal banter over the table about all things flying will be the talk of the day.

I will come if I am in town, but it currently looks like I will be in Melbourne, Australia.
As much as The Orchard Residences was a nice place to live for a year, I have little desire to go to Salt Grill and Sky Bar. I have been there more than enough times. The view is nice, but I don't think they represent good "value" as either drinking or dining establishments.
FWIW, It would actually be cheaper and better for a HGP Diamond to book a room at the Hyatt with no intention of using the room, purely to get themselves + guests into the grand club, which has a slightly less inspiring view, but free flowing drinks and better staff than Sky Bar...
YMMV.

Hmmmmm... The cheapest banquet is $88. Link: Banquet Menus
a la carte could be cheaper depending what you order. It could also be more expensive.
But most people would like a drink, which then adds to the bill as drinks aren't free... You might theoretically be able to do it for $50, but I would allow double that as a rough guess.
You could do Din Tai Fung in Wisma for $20-$25 a head (+ drinks).

My budget estimate of $50 a pop still remains, it really depends on what you order as well. My recent adventures have yielded around the range of $37-48 a person. I will also be bringing wine for the table as well so that's covered.
