I and TSMRSRNE are game, but you may have more luck on the United Forum. After all, Cleveland is supposedly a UA hub.

RNE, recalling that MBM3 used to organize CLE Do's back in CO days.

I was interested in knowing if other people on FlyerTalk are located in Cleveland and whether there are any meetups or anything.

There are currently seven members listing CLE as their home airport.

But there are many more members who are not listed and the region includes CAK and AKR.

It's still a good place to start.

Both of which have zero people in that thread. Same for YNG and all the other minor airports in the region.

So I'm finding this thread just a bit late. I'm in CLE and a bit jealous of all of the activities (meetups) available in other cities. I would be interested on meeting others with similar interests. I know you all are around ... I've had to compete for VRs at CVS in the past .

FT things do happen in Cleveland, example: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...26-2014-a.html

The best way to make things happen is simply to post an idea. Keep it simple, like drinks on Fri night at xxxxx. Low cost, low key event.

And comp the drinks of celebrities like TSMRSRNE and me so we'll attend. After all, what's more interesting in NEO than us?

RNE, as if!

I am resurrecting an old thread. I recently moved to NE Ohio for work. I currently live in the Westin Cleveland Downtown but will be moving to Akron/Fairlawn in mid-Sept. Are there still FlyerTalkers in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area? Do you have any interest in meeting up and trying out the food scene?

hey hey, if I get to that area of OH, I'll definitely give you notice.

of course Symon's places are looked to, such as Lola. One of the best sandwiches I've had in recent years was the homemade fried bologna sandwich at Symon's B Spot restaurant (numerous locations).

West Side Market should be a stop

Cleveland has a number of good delis (unlike Chicago), Slyman's for corned beef
