Whatever you guys decide. But I was thinking that most of the travelers would like to taste some authentic Polish food :)

It's a good place for beer and drinks but not really for food.

Maybe MFK has some restaurant recommendations for Polish food in the city?
I would recommend:
Hawelka
Pod Baranem

I vote authentic Polish :D

Also, Thursday night is US Thanksgiving and if anyone is around for some for and drinks, join us

I'll do any place serving Polish food :)
That's the idea of visiting Poland :)

Getting back to this thread:
I can't do drinks on Thursday, but I can come out one of Friday or Saturday. I of course have a biased opinion of where to drink (Omerta on Kupa or House of Beer in the old city) and conveniently there's always Polish food around. The only places I can add to Jason's recommendations are Morskie Oko on Plac Szczepanski ("mountain" food, sort of a Zakopane theme) and the small "W Starej Kuchni" around the corner from that, although I'm sure that second one is really one of many similar restaurants, we just happened to eat there a few times and liked it. In Kazimierz you have popular local places like Sąsedzi on Miodowa and the three branches of Warsztat. I think places like Hawelka are better, but I'd argue these are some solid upper-middle-end places.

Christmas markets aren't open as of yesterday, but the buildings are there and the stage is almost put up. They should be ready to go this week.

It was also (as of typing this at 9am on Monday morning) snowing. But it's just those little pre-winter flurries that likely won't do anything and melt as soon as they hit the ground. But as any good Stark knows: Winter is coming.

Whoever is coming to Krakow, wear something warm. It's freaking cold here :)

The food truck on our street is still going and the burgers are good ;)

Friday I might not be able to do dinner, but drinks on Sat or Fri. are doable.

sounds good.
But that food truck is only open in the evenings, right?

What time would everyone want to do dinner Friday? 6pm? 7pm? 8pm?
