I can never eat other BBQ again
Also, I didn't notice until walking off the plane tonight, my seatmate on AUS -ATL had a Flyertalk tag on his bag! Wonder who that was. |

Thank you, Mackieman. The weekend was impeccably organized and run. It was awesome to have Franklins all to our group. What a coup!

Much thanks to Mackieman for another fabulous time. I'm in for any future events you guys stage.
Thanks also to paranoiatx and the other locals for the evening crawls, which certainly added to the experience. ;) If you're feeling busy when planning next year's event, just do a dinner at Franklin's all by its lonesome. I'd come down just for that in a heartbeat. :D |

I would like to pre-reserve 2 spots at Franklin for next time, and I will definetly join the pub(s) crawl(s) instead of running a wood splitter like I did this year. At least after the pubs crawls I will have a good reason for huring the next day!
Thanks again to Mackieman, Starwood Lurker, and Paranoiatx for doing most of the work! |
Great time everyone at this past weekend's Austin Mega Do 2.5

My thanks, again, to Corey, Misty, William, Ben for a great weekend. Another fun and filling time in Austin. And I got a nice surprise on the last leg of the trip home: I took the M60 Bus from LGA, connecting to the M104 down Broadway from 106th St; as we passed 100th, I noticed a new sign on the marquee of the Metro Theatre, a beautiful art deco movie house that's been shuttered for about 10 years - it's becoming an Alamo Drafthouse in 2014! Great save of a wonderful old movie house!
