As DC Restaurant Week is now less than 2 weeks away (with Alexandria Restaurant week just after that), I wanted to bump this thread to see whether we have any additional people interested in one or more of our reservations, all of which have at least one seat available.

On Monday, August 15, we have dinner reservations at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Tyson's Corner; on Wednesday, August 17, we'll be dining at 1781 in Georgetown; Thursday, August 18 finds us at Art and Soul on Capitol Hill; and Tuesday, August 23, we'll be heading for the Grille at Morrison House in Old Town.

Hopefully, several additional locals -- or visitors from out of town -- will be able to join us.

Since I am actually not out of town all month, put me down for the Grill at Morrison House on the 23rd.

If you've got a seat open on the 18th, I'd be delighted to join you all at Art and Soul.

I can't make 1789 - not because I'm adverse to wearing a jacket! I start working Graves that evening (have to be at work around 11pm), and will be literally paid to sleep that day to adjust my body clock :D

I'm going to have to bail on Ruths Chris as well. I'm going to have to start working graves a day earlier than anticipated. Sucks that I have to miss both dinners!

Any other takers for any of our 4 upcoming Restaurant Week events?

C'mon, somebody else join us on the 18th. I'll even put on a clean shirt for the occasion!

I was wondering if we could get another person or two -- otherwise I should probably change the reservation to 4.

I'd wait 'til next week to alter the reservation; you'd be surprised (actually you probably wouldn't) at the amount of last minute additions we've had in the past.

given that it is restaurant week, I've sometimes had trouble changing to a smaller table -- all booked up.
