Internet Site Problem
I was trying to book a hotel for next March and was looking at a couple different properties in the area (North Carolina).
What I didn't realize at the time (3:48 PM) is that the Choice site seems to default back to the current date when a different hotel is checked for a booking. This becomes a problem if one makes a booking without realizing the date has been changed until it is 4:05 PM and it is too late to cancel. I've already contacted Customer Service and they had no success getting the hotel to change the date on the booking so now I am at the mercy of a System Investigation to get my money refunded. Yeah, it's my mistake (with a lot of help from Choice), so I may end up eating a useless night. Just consider this a warning about an annoying feature of the Choice Hotels on-line booking system. |
As I anticipated, I got a boiler plate rejection of my request without any indication that anyone addressed the question I raised about the booking system.

With a lot of help from ChoiceHotels, my problem was reviewed again. Best of all a refund was posted to my credit card yesterday.
