I was having similar issues with the "Extras" not holding (using Chrome). Then I realized that my profile was set to receive airline miles. I had to change that setting to receive actual Choice points. Once that was complete, I could select any of the "extra" options.
Perhaps :extras: are only valid when your profile is set for points only?

So how does the coffee card works ? Is it they will give me the card when I check in ? I saw someone above mention it is via email ? I had a stayed last sunday night, certainly didn't get anything at check in (selected this option in my profile), was going to ask when I check out but totally forgot, and certainly didn't receive any email yet. :(

I cannot update my profile on the Choice Hotels app or the website.
I've tried Chrome, IE, everything. On the website I get the error message "* Invalid entry, please review and try again." On the app I get the error message "Error. There was an error processing the request on the server". I need to update my address and other things. Since I see Choice Hotels is replying here, I am letting them know about this issue. |

I tried selecting my Extra, but it states: "To start earning an extra reward, please add a phone number to your account by clicking here".
So I go into the "personal & contact information" section to edit. For some reason the phone number is blank. I enter the 10 digit us phone number, and I get this message: "Certain required profile fields are empty, please update to continue editing your profile" and "Invalid entry, please review and try again." I add the phone number with and without dashes. There are no other required fields that are blank. The only thing that works is canceling which doesn't update the phone number. I can place the check next to starbucks card, or any other extra, but there isn't a save button. I am earning hotel points, and not airline or amtrak. Also tried on Win Vista chrome, ie and firefox. Also tried on android tablet (chrome). None of these worked. EDIT: I just got off the phone with Customer Relations (they are MST, so 9 AM EST). They added a phone number, and also selected points for the Extra. When I look at my account, I see the phone number is not blank, but their isn't a check next to "choice privilege points" for the Extra. I can put a check next to it, but there isn't a save/update button. Now what? |
