Status match into Choice
 

I'm a Priority Club Platinum Ambassador (and SPG Plat) looking to become a Choice member and status match into CP. I use Wyndham Rewards as my third program and am just fed up and looking for a change.

Does anyone anticipate I will have luck doing this?

I was matched from IHG/PC Plat to Choice Platinum, but I know it can be hit and miss.

A colleague was matched from HHonors to Choice a couple of years ago with no problems...

I'm pretty sure there's a thread here from the past year on this.

You can use the contact form on the Choice site to make the request. They'll likely ask for you to fax a copy of your most recent statement from the competitor which you are using to request the match.

I contacted Choice like 2 weeks ago about a match. 2 days later they told me to fax my credentials, so I faxed my Marriott plat statement and card, and my Hyatt Diamond statement and card.
I have not heard from them since.
I did hit gold on my own since waiting though!!!

Has anyone been matched to Diamond?

I think I was only seeing plat matches which is all I really want so I can get unlimited on the next stay 2 promos.

I have yet to hear of anyone being matched to Diamond. I was matched to Plat, along with others on FT.

I am surprised that you haven't heard back from though. My match was done quickly after I sent in my stay history from the competitor. It might be worth inquiring.

Now, going the other way, who does a decent match from Choice? I tried to get HHonors to upgrade me, but they wouldn't go higher than one above base level...

I would ask for the status match after creating your account, so they can apply the match to an active account.

Use Best Western as your intermediary. Priority Club wouldn't match my Choice Privileges Elite Diamond, but I was able to go Choice Privileges Elite Diamond --> Best Western Diamond --> Priority Club Platinum.

And now you have three top tier memberships that are mostly useless (as far as the "elite" benefits are concerned) :D

I am a Priority Club Platinum, and Choice gave me Platinum as well.
