Did a search but couldn't seem to find anything (which surprised me). A colleague has a (college-age) son who is flying into PVG and he's nervous about finding an ATM. I've only been to PVG once and can't recall where ATMS were, although I'm sure there are plenty of them.

PVG site lists these bank branches, which I assume have ATMs. Anyone know if there is an HSBC ATM at PVG?

Since its H (hong kong) S (shanghai) Banking Co. they have a lot of ATMs in Shanghai, but not many branch offices....

Most people travel to Shanghai also do Beijing, wonder if anyone has info about ATM within PEK that accepts foreign credit & debit cards.

IIRC theres a thread out there somewhere that discusses ATMs in China and preferences of different FT users and acceptance of foreign cards.

PVG: Exit customs, turn left and ATM machine is on the left side past hotel transportation kiosks and before the up escalator.

Worse-case scenario: there are currency exchange facilities inside customs but I don't like paying the fee.
