My parents went to the "acrobat show" at the Shanghai Center years ago and thought it was the most worthless thing they did in 3 weeks in China. Not enough acrobats, too many "magic tricks" and other non-acrobatic frou-frou. Research up on the different options and troupes as to the exact nature of the show, then pick. I'd lean towards somewhere in Beijing.

Cirque Du Soleil shut down "Iris", its big budget show in LA, was expected
to run 10 years. The Chinese acrobats headed back , some to Beijing,
will ask them what shows are going on there.
They said in China they are considered street performers and don't get
paid much. Also same working for CDS, but seems odd as one of their trips
was to Beverly Center to buy LV bags.

I went to the acrobat show in Beijing over the summer, and it was amazing. The theatre was clean, and the highlight were several acrobats that were riding motor bikes in a steel cage. Just amazing.
