On our flight DFW/FLL Saturday night, the male FA had his Pepsi drinks in plain sight when he sat down to have his dinner at the back of the plane after they served the first round of drinks.
There was a big paper cup of Pepsi logo et al, like those you would see in fastfood chain, sat on the traytable of middle seat and he was eating a burger or something like that. I had to stand there for several minutes waiting for the bathroom and watching him drinking it with a straw. I seriously doubt anyone would bring an empty Pepsi paper cup onto an AA plane just because he needed the cup for holding Coke or other drinks... Did they now allow carry-on luggages as usual for flights from U.S. to U.K.? We are totally out of touch with news after 2 weeks roadtrip thru the Northwest but we need to find out as we are leaving for LHR in 9 days. |

Likely not much - unless one of the other passengers reports her for it? These days - who knows?? Everyone seems to be reporting everything!

So I have to admit something.
I inadvertently had a bottle of H20 in my roll-a-board this week. Despite "Condition Retarded" being in full force, and actually having my bag run through twice, the offending agent was not identified or confiscated. I only realized this once I unpacked at home. So either this is complete Kabuki, screeners think it's nonsense, screeners can't clearly visualize liquids in the Xray, or all of the above. |

Lastly, I talked to a guy while waiting in the line to board on the outbound to Vegas last week, he travels every week for business, and said the ban does not impact him since he just puts his deodarant and toothpaste in his pockets when he goes through security. Its time to end the ban, I have seen more blatant violations of the ban in the past two weeks of travel, its like "what's the point." |

What is the point, Comrades Chertoff and Hawley? None, except for your own little sick perversions. :td: |

While waiting in the gate area for our international flight last week, my wife opens her handbag and realizes that she neglected to dispose of a half-full bottle of Pepsi prior to the TSA security screening. She forgot she had it, nobody caught it, I drank it (to remove the incriminating evidence ;) ). |
I am waiting here in IAH Term. E this morning and just went through security. I dutifully removed all of my liquids from my toiletries bag at home except for my contact lens solution. The bag went through with nary a peep. There is no way that the x-ray screener could determine what the liquid was.
And I am happy to report that my jelly donut in its separate Shipley's bag made it through without an issue. :D |
