Thats true. But if he is, their not listening to him are they? Because he complains about every single part of screening, none of this could have been his idea. What are they doing with all his "great" ideas?? :confused:

I actually introduced a report for the Baltimore Sun to FT. She wrote an article about TSA security (she said she covers BWI and TSA for reporting), so I felt compelled to respond. She was quite interested in what frequent flyers had to say about things.

I told her to ask away, and to check out this area as I'm sure there would be some that would share their views with her. :D

Hopefully some good will come out of it.

You're under the assumption that when someone presents a sane, sensible idea that they immediately adopt it because it's the right thing to do.

The truth is that the "leaders" of the TSA are a small cadre of arrogant, ignorant little men who routinely ignore such sage advice and act on their pathetic instincts, and perhaps the advice of their astrologers.

Yes I did keep him up. As a matter of fact, I woke him up. Is there a problem with that? I also woke up Tom Ridge, the head of the FBI in Philadelphia, and someone from the FAA.

1. I don't have all the answers. And if it seems that way to someone, then I would certainly recommend such persons to a place in DEL, the same place when a certain Blair had vision issues addressed.

2. I've done my small part to try to change things; and I'll continue to do so.

3. How things "shouldn't be" is as important -- or perhaps even more important -- than how things "should be".

4. As evidenced by use of the FT search feature, I've shared my ideas, including on FT, plenty.

5. These matters have little to no personal impact on me -- since I'll manage my way (i.e., workarounds) -- and so no personal ranting necessary. However, thoughtless indifference -- in the face of recklesss convenience and adventures -- seems to do even less good.

Most of my focus on international security matters nowadays is merely a remnant; and what's left involves working with foreign governments and has no direct relationship with aviation security; nor even officially with the public sector anymore.

Why would they listen to my ideas, we all know how Bush feels about the TSA. And besides, you've pointed out to me numerous times that I am wrong. Always, no matter what I say. About the phone call. When I first mentioned it I was trying to tell about something that had happened to me. Just like everyone else does on here. You immediately started to ridicule me. As if because it didn't involve you itwasn't important enough to be told. Or maybe you were implying that I was lying??? Either way, whether intended or not, you try to make me feel stupid. But I'm not stupid enough to keep conversing with you.

I don't assume anything about anyone. I KNOW the TSA leaders are a bunch of incompetent ***holes, I work for them. But I believe that all people have the best intentions when they do something, that their not doing it for malicious reasons. Unlike a few people on here that think the government is "plotting" against them all the time. That everything we do is to harrass them and inconvenience them. I don't know what the leaders are thinking, but why can't you believe that the screeners are really trying to keep you a little bit safer? Why are we always just hassleing you? Why can't the screening process be just what it is? Why are we trying to take away your rights, intrude on your privacy? Honestly, I haven't met anyone that interesting that I want to know that much about them. I just want to make sure your not carrying anything your not supposed to. Do I think your a terrorist? Not really. But if you get something through security that you shouldn't have, your gonna make a big stink about that too.

Just like they aren't listening to you. Like I said before, I was trying to tell a story and you took it out of context. Nor would I presume that I know better than them. I don't know what they know, but you know everything. But, I do have the number to call if I decide that I do know everything, do you?
