By the way...thanks for your seat and the deli plate

First of all, it is spelled H I J A C K, not highjack. Is there some illicit substance being smoked in the premium cabin lavs? :D

What exactly will you do when you "run into" one of us on you next flight? It sounds like you already know how to identify us  , too bad that we really do know what you look like. ;)

Thank the airlines. It is seldom that a thief says "thank you" after he robs you. I am sure the airlines will appreciate the politeness.

I have to admit that I am neither an air marshal or a federal agent but I do fly quite often and have to admit that my fellow frequent fliers are some real pieces of work. They complain more than any other group of people I know. Heaven forbid they listen to the flight attendants. Simple requests such as put your tray up, return your seat upright, put your cellphone away all often go ignored by these high and mighty jerks that I have to fly with. How many of you believed that I was an air marshal from my previous posts? You people are so selfabsorbed it amazes me. I am simply a frequent flier who understands and appriciates the hard work and hours these agents endure. My previous trolling posts simply proved my point. That is the view most frequent fliers have of air marshals and that view is as wrong as those phony posts yet you people swallowed them hook, line, and sinker because that's what you all believe to be true. You people are like 10 year old children when they think that they have been cheated out of something they "deserve."

Do you plan on contributing anything useful to FlyerTalk?

Anyway, I've copied this thread (and other posts by the same brand new member) and sent them to DHS and asked them to investigate to determine:

(A) Who is impersonating a federal sky marshal; or

(B) If this poster is really a sky marshal, whether they are fit for duty and continued employment.

Just doing my patriotic duty.

How about doing your patriotic duty and supporting these guys and gals who aren't out to screw anyone or take a seat from us but are doing their part in protecting the country. I'm sure they are told where to sit and what to wear. Do I like being bumped into coach? Hell no I don't. But I understand that we all need to make sacrifices. Imagine how many hours these agents fly in a week and having to do that in coach or on Southwest everyday.

How about cutting back on your aggressive baiting posts?

Surely if you feel FAMs are suffering from an image problem amongst the flying public you would like to better the image of FAMs? The tone of your posts renforces the "manic" image that many FT'ers have of members of your agency.

[QUOTE=drb671]It happened again today, and this time, I was able to confirm it was a non-active sky marshall.

When you say "non-active", I take it you mean an off-duty, not working, Federal Air Marshal, who is being given free first class upgrades just due to their status?

If you think this is the case, you really are stuck on yourself. Hmmm a pair of guys arrange their "time off" together, go to the airport, and get a first class upgrade, just to ruin your day, and of course give you plenty of reason to conjure up a real good conspiracy theory.

If you people dont think there are bad guy's out there who would try and do 9-11 over again, or even worse, you are mistaken and you are the first overbearing, overconfident, unknowing, full of themselves, self-serving, know-it-alls who they will stab in the freakin neck with a sharpened pencil if nothing else.

please let the retalitory name-calling begin.

Got it. Thanks! ;)

What a coincidence.

Yet another just-registered poster with the same attitude as the other half-dozen.

Your attempts to backtrack over your posts as a FAM are frankly pathetic. All it took was one post from FWAAA claiming that your posts were being sent to the DHS to start you quaking.

Of course there are bad guys out there. But an air marshal isn't going to do anything that passengers couldn't do for themselves. Perhaps if we stopped wasting money on the air marshal program and spent the money on much-needed chemical sniffers at the checkpoints instead, it wouldn't be child's play to smuggle explosives onto aircraft like it is now. And no air marshal is going to be able to do a thing about that.

Stab you in the neck with a pencil? Oh my God, I never thought of that! I'll never be able to go to the mall again! They even have a cutlery store there!
