I'm not suggesting that there are many TSOs (or LTSOs or STSOs) who would knowingly cooperate with a plan to smuggle explosives past security.

I am suggesting that some TSOs (and LTSOs and STSOs) have been willing to cooperate in smuggling drugs, guns, and cash past security. I doubt that those TSOs demand to inspect the contraband every time to make sure that it really is drugs, guns or cash and not explosives.

The easiest thing in the world for the bad guys is to get a drug smuggling ring set up with TSA's assistance and then pull a switch.

TSA won't catch it unless someone has a sticky note with the details pinned between their legs or stuck in their butt crack.

Now we know why they are so intent on resolving the piece of paper left in a . .er. . pocket.
