Precisely! It's very inappropriate behaviors at work. He's trying to steal the money from passengers bag. He could be fired. He will never work for TSA.

As it turns out, a month ago some other folks reported $40 being stolen from them at this checkpoint, but from a different TSO. They reported it to the supervisor and the supervisor didn't take a report or act interested.

TSA should be disciplining the individual who identified as a supervisor (frequently just an LTSO) who didn't follow up on the theft - possibly because he's on the take.

Right again. If they get disciplinary action on him and they will fired him. They will not able to work for TSA again. If they breaking the rules. They will eventually to be terminated. There will be no more work for TSA again. He will go to jail. That's bottom line.

The screener who deliberately blocked the pax view of her bag while she was being groped should also be investigated. With one screener caught and another report that was ignored by a supervisor, it's possible that there are multiple TSOs working as a team.

Where are the LTSO and STSOs? If there's this much theft going on at their checkpoints, they are either incompetent or involved. Either way, if TSA cared about a workforce with integrity, they'd have someone outside the control of the FSD reviewing all tapes involving anyone working that checkpoint that day.

Well, they are very busy at passengers checkpoints. If LTSO or anyone else who is not at checkpoints. You must go directly to TSA supervisor immediately. You must tell TSA supervisor right way. It's your responsibilities. You must report it to LEO or TSA supervisor about what happened at checkpoints. They will look security surveillance camera. They will take care of this. They will look into it.

Like the Denver groper and accomplice.

If they actually looked into such things these issues wouldn't be happening with anything like the frequency they do.

If the bozo had stowed the money more securely, the supervisor would have dismissed this woman just like he dismissed the claims of the couple who earlier reported $40 getting stolen.

The supervisor who refused to act on the first report should be disciplined.

The supervisor must had listen to those passengers and the TSO, as well. They must tell them about what happened at work.

Please refrain calling the TSA employees officers.
They are NOT officers but normal employees and nothing more.

Actually they are clerks.

I think this story fits in well with this thread.

Drug Dealers Bribe San Francisco International Security Agents

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/201...guilty-bribes/

But on Tuesday, a supervisor screener who used to work at SFO is facing federal charges for turning a blind eye as 50 pounds of cocaine went through his x-ray screener.

The big worry, says KPIX 5 security analyst and former FBI agent Jeff Harp, is that if a screener is willing to watch drugs go by, what else are they willing to watch go by?

A total of seven Bay Area airport screeners face similar charges.
Theft, bribes, and no telling what else by the hands of airport security screeners. And we are suppose to trust these people with our bodies and belongings.

NOT ME!

chollie Jun 29, 2017 8:43 am

I have always considered this to be the biggest and most likely threat: an inside job where unscreened, never-challenged TSOs, LTSOs and STSOs think they are enabling another shipment of drugs or guns, when in fact the bad guys have substituted a load of nasty.

I consider the refusal by TSA to screen airport workers as a fatal flaw in TSA Security programs. In this case, no amount of physical screening would protect against those who are willing to sell out for a few dollars. Since this person was a supervisor I also have to wonder just what additional oversight was provided at the checkpoints to guard against this form of breach? Corruption is probably one of the more difficult issues that any employer deals with but with airports screeners ability to control what does or does not clear security I think that situation doubles.

TSA may be looking at the wrong people when considering where the threats are coming from.
