Did they follow federal employee travel guidelines and take Amtrak or did they fly? Look, I'm not a fan of TSA, but if someone decreed that they were needed for the inauguration, and they pulled them in from wherever, then they are traveling for business, the same as many thousands of Federal employees and contractors do every day. As most of us on Flyertalk do. My company pays all of my expenses, and the TSA guys will have all of theirs covered as well. Transportation to/from DC, lodging, rental cars if needed, per diem regardless of how much or how little they spend on food. |
Hmm. I was wondering TSA & SS doing at Inauguration Day. Did they patted it down or passed through metal detectors? Is security very tight?
