Especially because this incident didn't even BEGIN at a checkpoint.

If the checkpoint needs a raised, armored shooting platform to protect against the lone loonie, then all TSA staff need armed escorts to and from their vehicles or transit or perhaps all the way to their houses. Or a locker room at the airport so they can commute in street clothes.

Or just stop and think about why someone would want to fire at the TSA in the first place.
