Just finished 'security' in MHT-1 lane w/NoS. Smurfs demanding every pax 'show me your hands' upon exiting, even if Gumby gives a green light. Smurfs aren't touching (thankfully) or swabbing they just are demanding to look at top & bottom of every single pair of hands coming thru.

Every time you think this process couldn't possibly get any more stupid, someone @ the TSA takes out a shovel & starts digging :td:

They are mad at us because their pervert got arrested this week. I would love to have his picture in my hand or on top in a bin.

Perhaps wear tee-shirts with the perverts occupation and mug shot.

There's a perfectly good explanation for this but it's SSI - Soap Scum Indications.

They were doing that because AIT/Gumby cannot detect items held in the palm of the hand.

Since I had no gate assigned to my flight, I had no option but to sit there & watch the circus until I did have a gate to go to.
