Chase Apple store [Consolidated]
 
Very frustrated, trying to use UR Points for an Apple purchase through the UR Portal. When selecting the item and clicking "add to bag," either nothing happens or I get a message saying "there was an error adding this to your shopping bag." Is/has anyone else experienced this problem? After 4 phone calls to Chase, someone called me back today and left no message. 6 more phone calls today and still no answers.

Have you tried various browsers or browsing in Incognito or Private mode?

Wow. Even the portal knows it’s a bad use of points. :D

Wouldn't it make more sense to make the purchase like normal, get the points for the purchase, and then do a statement credit with the original points?

Well, they're currently offering $0.01 per point now for Apple products via the UR Portal, which is equivalent to the cash back option. I just wanted the ease of ordering directly with the points.

However, because of Chase's horrible portal and mind-numbingly awful customer service, I gave up on that option. I ended up shopping at Apple directly via the Shop Through Chase 2x points bonus, and then took the cash back for my existing points balance. I suppose I should have done that in the first place.

Works fine for me. Added an iPad Pro to me cart no problem. Have you tried mia's suggestions?

Three different devices, two different browsers on each, fully cleared cache, restarted, followed all the standard helpdesk advice. Finally got a call from Chase today, they said it's a known problem, but I already gave up and went the other route.

Correct me if I am wrong, but even at 1c/point its still a bad deal. Buy the product and cash out the points; you'll get points for the purchase. Buy with points and you miss out on the points you would otherwise earn if you did it as a regular purchase.

It's a bad deal if you have upcoming travel to book. However, if you need an iMac Pro now, but only have $2K saved and sitting on 300,000 UR points, it's a great use.

What is the delivery time for Apple products ordered through the UR portal?
 
I was looking at buying some apple items with the points from my reserve card. Any idea of how long shipping times are taking for phones watches and iPads?

I can't speak to right now but any time I've ordered from Apple, it's been at my house within 2-3 days.

Any experience redeeming UR points for Apple merchandise, and how long it takes for items to become available through Chase's fulfillment contractor?

I have ordered three items. They give a delivery estimate. Two items arrived within a week which was about the estimate. The item that says 4 to 6 weeks has not arrived. I ordered a week ago. I did notice that FedEx has received “shipment information” so perhaps it will arrive earlier. In my experience shipments have shipment information received have been picked up from the seller within a couple of days. Apple does send the orders . The orders had the heading AI and I have had orders direct from the Apple store shipped from the same location. The only issue there might be which I read on another forum is that if you need to return Apple won’t take returns of orders through Chase. You will have to deal with Chase and it might not work out.

It was a great offer. I saved a bunch using points. I believe today is the last day.

I ordered an iPhone 12 using UR 3 weeks ago. Ready to ship estimate was 4 to 6 weeks. Haven’t received any info about an earlier shipment yet. Right now if you order from Apple direct, they are delivering my model and color in 2 or 3 days. I ordered an Apple case using UR also. The case arrived in a week.
