1) You can count 4-6 weeks from the date of your order.
2) There is a phone number in the 1st email you got, you can call them and cancel and use one of the methods mentioned in this thread to achieve the same discount if you're holding a Sapphire card. Even with the Sapphire card, I am not seeing where PYB can be used for Apple purchases. |

You have to be creative... buy Apple gift card at grocery store and then pay yourself back on grocery category.
Edited to add: Called Fedex Office, UPS Store, and a couple independent mailbox and shipping shops in my area, no one sells Apple gift cards |

Ah yes, that would make sense, but alas the grocery category is not an option for Ink Business Plus cards unless there is evidence that buying Apple gift cards is possible at a Fedex Office shop and would code correctly under the shipping category.

Staples sells Apple gift cards (5X) , for Ink Cash and Ink Plus.
If I bought $1,100 worth of Apple Gift Cards at Staples, I would receive total points of 5,500. If I redeem my points balance for the phone through the Chase 25% promotion, the bonus points value is 19,654 based on the number of points I had to redeem for the phone. So I just need to find a shipping or mailbox store that on the off-hand chance sells Apple Gift Card, which seems doubtful...of course the Apple website had no function to search retailers for the gift cards  I did get customer service on the phone and they are estimating the end of Dec to early Jan for me to get the phone delivered, and Apple.com is estimating Dec 11-18 so it might not be that far off. |
Comparative data point: 4 weeks for iPhone 12 Pro ordered through AT&T online.

Was able to cancel my not yet shipped order for a refund of the UR used. Took 48 hours after making a request.

Chase Apple store
Guys - I don't understand what's the big deal of 50% extra points on chase's apple store - can't we simply use pay yourself back at 50% additional points anyways?
Also, does anybody know if it offers the store pickup option or only shipping? Thanks |

Understood. I logged in but can't find an option for store pickup, has anybody been successful in doing so?

The main problem with ordering Apple through Chase UR is the inability to check the status of an order. You cannot be sure the order is still processing or iff it has been lost or cancelled through the system. Once you order you remain in the dark until it ships (or not).

Redeem UR for Apple Macbook Air. Upgrade RAM to 16GB?
Has anyone found a way to get a Macbook Air or Pro upgraded from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM? This is using the Ultimate Rewards points, of course, and I'm just not seeing any way to make that upgrade before purchase.
Is it possible to return/exchange it? Maybe calling Apple and paying for an upgrade? Anything at all? |
Welcome to Flyertalk.
1) Which Chase card(s) do you hold? 2) How many points are required to buy the 8GM model? 3) What is the cost in dollars of the 16GB version? |

The problem I can't work around is that Chase's website doesn't offer RAM upgrades. (It seems I can't attach screenshots of the options presented by Chase Rewards Apple section for Macbooks until I see more posts) Any ideas? Martin |
