Any way to mix and match Y and PEY and J fares?

Any way to mix and match Y and PEY and J fares?
Just wondering if any of the experts tried to do this before:
Just a hop HKG-TPE round-trip, but I couldn't seem to find a way of picking Y/PEY/J fares at will in a round-trip. It's either RT Y, RT PEY, or RT J. Matrix ITA didn't seem to do the trick. Any insights?
Trying to see if I could mix and match a J avios redemption and a J/Y/PEY fare, avios redemption for CX flights have gone downhill due to the increase the tax/surcharges - Might as well buy the flights outright.
Appreciate your help in advance.
