Any idea what sort of EXCITING offers will be offered?

Given the monkey see, monkey do relationship that CX seems to be having with BA, my guess: free extension of status for all..

although Slosar’s comment was probably generic (‘people’ vs affected customers etc)

Guess I need to start shouting and screaming to get them "exciting offers".

I was at the hearing this morning and the comedy of all of this is....nothing actually was outlined except for hinting at discounts of sorts - but just exciting officers to keep everyone sweet. Not good if they decide to do that in one sense - a drop in yield...

"A drop in yield means an increase in YQ."

I already got an email from CX with some "great deals". Y flights from BOS to BKK for over $1,800. Not sure what their marketing department is smoking...

Depends on which countries' $ the pricing is. For US$, the pricing does look a bit "steep" to appeal holiday makers. For a little higher you can get I class, EU-Asia tickets, 3+ months out.
