After years of seeing "DM/EMERALD xxxxxxxxxx" on my BP, I was surprised to see "CXDM xxxxxxxxx" on my BP in TPE last month. On the Lounge Invitation, where it usually says "DM/EMERALD" it said... nothing. Just the MPO Number.

Curious if anyone knows the reason why this happened... it only happened once - both all the BP's before and after (from TPE) have been in the standard format. This particular BP was issued at the gate after asking for a seat on an earlier flight.

Once upon a time I had a BP that said "CXSL" issued by KUL check-in counters. Doesn't appear to be a rhyme or reason as to when/why this happens.

Usually happens when you do last minute go-show. In such case for unknown reason it's very likely that you will be shown as a non-status passenger on the passenger list...
