Do pax for KIX need to de-plane at TPE and re-board? Thanks.

not necessary but it is an option. u're given a tag and you shall pass thru transit security and board accordingly.

i never tried cuz i always take hkg tpe earlier flight in ordervto max status credits in case of ex tpe circular route. . but i wonder if cx450 or similar booked on 2 PNR will show up as 2 segments instead of 1 as underlying tickets are different

2 segments. Ud also hv to pay taxes twice (and if origin not hkg, yq twice too)
