I've always have great experience at ORD. I don't go through there because of ORD airport mess, but as for Cathay service, ORD is the best outport I've experienced (the old JFK BA-crew was best, but now Cathay hired some outcast crew and it's blah)

Requested and received an escort through/past the security line again this week. Very wonderful CX ground staff at ORD.
BA lounges at ORD are fairly dismal. At least they have their own rest rooms.
I do miss the lounge to plane escort that used to be provided. Also, business and first shared the same boarding line this week.
