Same Day Flight Change at Airport?

Quite some meaningless discussion on whether one can change the ticket at TPE counter FOC....
Please note that ex-TPE I fare can change departure time FOC... But ex-HKG I fare doesn't... So please make sure your ticket requires you to pay a fee to change like ex-HKG I fare but you manage to get a change FOC at TPE with nothing special happening there (like delay) before you say that "Yes I get a free change to an earlier flight in TPE"..... Else you are simply exercising the condition of your ticket...
