How many TPs for KUL-BKK ?

I am about to book a return ticket with MH for KUL-BKK, however I am a bit confused about the actual miles between the two airports:

webflyer.com suggested 743 miles

CX miles calculator suggest 759 miles

BA Avios calculator suggest 748 miles

Which one would be correct?

CX/AM would prevail. Hooray for 25 cp!

914 miles in Z make this flight 731 mile...

It seems to be good value in Z if 25 club points could be credited.

However, if only 15 club points for this flight, I wouldn't mind sitting in Y to save some money (price different about US $150 for the flight I'd like to take) for activities in Bangcok

Mine was an ex BKK-KUL-XXX ticket, so i couldn't complain on the 15 club points. But it seems it is 25 club points now, iif it is what its written on the CX website, may worth the shot...

What do you mean by this? The club points should be calculated sector by sector so unless CX updated the table since you flew the sector, you should try to get the 25 points.

But why do they come up with different miles?

759 does seems tempting for CX club point, I guess there wouldn't be much flights shorter than this that still earns 25 cp.

Cheapest fare on the day for my travel is only $300 return, for the time I needed will be around $420 ($150 in Y). $270 for the added comfort, satay and 50 club points seems good value.

The table was 15 club points when I was flown and I got 15 club points credited, so I assume it has been updated to 25 club points now? If I am correct, then it is much better value now.
