Asia Mile - Open Jaw redemption
I'd like to book the following in J using Asia Miles with Qatar Airways...
SYD-DOH-JRO 9,889 mi
ZNZ-DOH-SYD 10,007 mi
Will they hit me for 175,000 Asia Miles as the longest leg is > 10,000 miles or would I be able to do it for 145,000 AM as the average is < 10,000 miles

However, if you do,
SYD-DOH-JRO//ZNZ-DOH-SYD//ADL-KGC, or something like that..(not sure if its possible)..last segment on Qantas, you can make that into a oneworld multi-carrier award with a flown mileage of less than 20k, so that would cost you 140k AM. You should also cross check the route lengths per Asiamiles' calculator, rather than GCMAP.
However, if you do,

Unfortunately they will hit you 175000 miles as the longest is over 10000 miles and there is no way to split the four trips so that in each direction is less than 10000 miles.
I see 2 solutions here:
1. Change the ZNZ-DOH-SYD to ZSZ-DOH-MEL, that would yield you under 10000 miles.
2. Add another oneworld airline to the itinerary makes you eligible for the OneWorld multi carrier award table, where if the total flown miles under 20000 it costs 140000AM. Maybe a stopover in Singapore and do a QR-QF connection?
