ISM introducing

Just flew Y from HKG-NRT in Y class. Noticed that the ISM didn't introduce herself to me (as a MPO Gold member). There were other passengers on the first row, who got an introduction and pre-meal drinks served as well?!? What's going on? Is it normal procedure for CX to introduce to passengers or is it just up to the FA's?

Not that I care so much ......well....if others get it? Especially now with the new campaign, I would expect the little extra attention.

I am not expecting a lot of DMs on the NRT route. So GOs should also get some attention, but that is up to the ISMs. Don't feel bad. It happens to DMs too.

Sometimes some passengers get more attention for reasons other than status. I was once on an ICN-HKG flight with overbooked J. Three J passengers were downgraded to Y. They got all the attention of the crew.

It has been a hit or miss lately, even on a long haul flights. It is really up to the ISMs. Sometime I would never see her at all in Y, excepting going to her mid flight break.

So as cxfan1960 said, don't feel bad, it happens to DMs too. I am a bit skeptical about how the campaign might change the behavior of the crew...... Don't get me wrong, they are generally good.

Disappointed? I am sure there are many who would love to take your upgraded seat so that you are less disappointed.:D:D

Anyway, don't feel disappointed if the ISM is still playing hide-and-seek with you.

It must be totally at the ISM discretion, this has happened to me a few times...as you say not that I care...well they must think I am a locked customer

Not dissapointed bcs of the upgrade ofcourse:):)

Just arrived in HKG and waiting for my connecting flight.
The flight from NRT was excellent .....the ISM was very very good (she's from Thailand) and the FA's half Japanese and HKG. The Japanese ones were so so so pretty ..........:p

It cant get better: got upgraded to First class to PVG from HKG on Dragonair .......SWEET!!!!!!!

Congratulations, sl00001.

Optm, does the ISM ever recognise you as a DMP?

Status is on the PIL, but ISM generally don't make mention of DMP, a few SP did however.
