yes, I have an X60...have been forgetting about this too. but, does the latest kit that I can buy include that T/X60 adapter ? do I need to buy the whole kit, or can just buy just that adapter ?

It's really very annoying as well that CX keeps focussing on the 'power point' image in their how-great-our-new-seats-are demo when they know the points are unusable and have no idea when the problem will be fixed.

What are passengers meant to do on 12-13 hour flights? Only use their laptops for a couple of hours then find a place to recharge their batteries while waiting for connections?

How different is this from false advertising?

Slightly OT (maybe):

Are the old plugs EmPower ports?

Yes except when they are proper AC ports.

well officially the new proper AC ports are called EmPower too if I remember correctly - but of course it doesn't require any EmPower kit/adapter anymore while the old DC ports would require one.
