yes the u/g from Y to J was not milege, comp u/g, and then 1st again comp u/g. from what i could hear as the other F pax walked in, they were all J to F u/g. and 5 of the 8 pax on 1st were DM.

As you said it CXfax, these are seldom, so I took it and smiled......

Last week, I checked-in 531 at HKG (a dayreturn) and had requested to WL for 451 1 week before the flight. But the WL wasn't cleared until I asking for it once again at TPE lounge. The 3 CX TPE flights in that evening were oversold in both Y and J and only 4 seats were occupied in F when I checked EF at the night before. The F cabin was full finally and I was the only DM on UD according to the SP on UD. After this incidence, I do think BN is also a factor to determine opups.

I might be totally blind, but I just checked in online and am trying to find that "BN" number on the printout. Can't find it anywhere

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

Let's say you are on CX255 on 28FEB and your "Check-In Ref" (indicated on the OLCI confirmation page) shows CX255/28FEB/001. This means that your BN is 1.

You will see it on the actual boarding pass given at the airport.

Yea, it's not on the OLCI thing...you only see it on the physical boarding pass at the airport

kchika has got it right, it is the OLCI thing - the last 4 digits reflect your BN which you then later see on the BP as BN:xxxx
