Is there a two airbridge system at each airport?

1-2-1 if I remember correctly. (I'm pretty sure about HKG & LHR)

Thanks.
I remeber two at LHR for BA & QF. Pretty sure only one at SYD for those airlines so imagine same for Cathay.

Only one at SYD.

Definitely two at HKG.

Maybe one or two at LHR depending what gate you park at. CX normally get 32-42 which are all one bridge only (except for 42). Sometimes it might get 23-31 which will be two bridges.

SYD will have 2 for the A380s - at the "rats tail" - gates 8-10 and a couple of the outer gates - as I understand it (Melb "inaugurated" it's first 2 when the 380 arrived there recently. Otherwise all of SYD Int is 1 (and painful). Once we pulled up 6 inches short of the line and had to wait for the truck to come and tow us the extra bit - that's how antequated SYD is!

Yeah SYD is a real pain. Considering so much work was done to the airport for the Olympic games not so long ago.
It's (to have one airbridge) a very egalitarian notion considering Aussies have embraced the elitistism of travelling so readily. Just look at the QF board & all the discussion on upgrades, lounges & other elitist aspects of air travel.
The airbridge sitiuation at SYD may change as mentioned below with Qantas' new A380 Airbuses (delivery of which is delayed) so maybe CX will benefit but I suspect all aircraft except the A380 will stil get one airbridge at SYD.

If dual airbridges are *that* exciting for you, feel free to take one of the QF A330 Domestic flights from SYD - they have dual airbridge access. Apart from that you'll be out of luck though (and I don't think being egalitarian has anything to do with it, more like the jokers running the place don't want to spend a cent more than they have to).

I did say SYD Int - International. And, I a gree the ROI drivers seem to override any other considerations.

There are no dual jetbridges at LHR Terminal 4.
