It seems a bit disgusting.

There speaks an apostle of the processed food generation. :(

It's actually the powdery stuff in America that's disgusting. Swiss Miss is an insult to the Federation.

I'll second that! I always do it this way when I want to make Italian denso - do the above and then put it in the oven....yummmmmm...you can just see that belly fatten up ;)

Not at all - that's how real hot chocolate is supposed to be. Now here's yours truly's recipe for real "Swiss Miss" ;) hot chocolate:

1 cup of fresh whole milk (not the skimmed stuff!)
1 50g bar of Teuscher 75% cocoa chocolate
NO marshmellows, candy, sugar, whipped cream etc.

Gently heat up the milk, break up the chocolate bar and melt it in the milk.
Stir, serve, enjoy the real thing!

Maybe they dun wanna be sued when the crew spill those hot drinks onto the pax!~

Well given the American carriers are not that concerned I don't think a lawsuit is something an Asian carrier is concerned about.

No, the US carriers are too concerned about serving you on the ground that everything's in PLASTIC cups!

Air Canada won't even serve ANYTHING the minute the FASTEN SEAT BELT sign comes on!

Pfft. It's not precocious, it's spoiled. Applies to any passenger of any age who demands hot chocolate even after being told it's not available.

I admit that I have on occasion been a demanding passenger, but I'm not likely to demand that an FA produce that which he or she simply does not have.

That said, in this instance, an FA was able to use resourcefulness and imagination to fulfill the F customer's desire. Commendable.
