I just had a look through Carfield's photos on the catering of CX on his flight from JFK-HKG. It confirmed my earlier experience this year to HKG:
1) Small portions 2) Food presentation = bad 3) the Quality = average (especially the Dim Sum and noodles) Please take some time and have a look. I can post some of my past pictures and the conparison is evident on the deterioration! |
I usually don't eat on planes, even in J. When flying out of HK, I like to stop at the Popeye's for some fried chicken. That is what I did today, even though I got an op-up HKG-NRT (but Y wasn't completely full, so there is an upgrade fairy). However, for the cheese course they were serving this amazing Reblochon. I've never seen Reblochon served anywhere outside of very upscale restaurants, so that's what I had for dinner. Lots of it.

Someone blinker the CX loyalists!
They certainly don't want to read this trip report. ;)

that's what I said right @ the FIRST POST! and all the people who personal attack me obviously didn't even read the TR before they start the whole fiasco!. The details on the TR are excellent and Well Done Again Carfield! |
