So you should not go to those lounges on arrival?.

You cannot go to these lounges on arrival. They are departure lounges, only available to passengers flying out of HKG.

Is there a lounge near arrival - i heard there is a compl. shower available on arrival before immigration etc.
There's no arrivals lounge at HKG. There used to be two - Cathay and Plaza Premium - both located 'landside', in the walkway between T1 and T2, but both closed many years back. The Plaza Premium lounge is planned to reopen much later this year.

What kind of money they charge?

With respect, this is about the time you should start using Google. "Hong Kong left luggage" delivers all the information, pricing and options you need.

Also: this thread contains many helpful replies and practical advice from FTers in response to your original question, but not once have you said "thank you" for those or even clicked a post's 'Like' button in appreciation? A bit of gratitude goes a long way.

There’s no arrival lounge at HKG.

Shower facilities in arrival zone before immigration belongs to airport, not lounge.

Youn can have more info from HKIA website.

There are many many hotels (google) that will offer day rates for 8 or so hours. Suggest you find one of those, head there for a shower, keep your carry ons there and explore - you can go on many hikes, markets, explore shopping - whatever you want. As above google will be your friend.

Yea there's somewhat of a crosspost here and elsewhere. There is this separate thread, and in the wiki transit thread. Not exactly the same but basically.

There is a special half-price day ticket for the Airport Express.

Nothing "special" about this - it's been the same since the Airport Express started ~26 years ago.

If you're staying at the Marriott nearby in transit, can you walk over from the terminal ?
