Cathay serving Tap water?
Flying HKG-NRT on 12.05. I asked for sparkling water but still water was served, not a major and a genuine mistake. What I am more concerned about was that the water was tap water.
I only discovered this when I tasted it and it had a strong taste (and smell) of Chlorine. I remember Cathay always serve still water from a large bottle and never tap water. The attendant informed me it was a change in policy and she would write up my complaint. Either I have never noticed this before or it really is a change that CX are serving tap water now? Anyone else have similar experience or this is an isolated case? |

I think it is always ‘tap’ water they serve in economy? Only bottled water in business.

some years ago they had some bad publicity because of somw issue with the water tanks. Can't recall exactly what happened. So they did swiched to bottled water but would not surprise me too much if itis back to water from the tank
