Is 100-mile carbon offset option for 100 miles/points still an option? I am trying to look on the Cathay site but not finding it... perhaps I'm looking at the wrong spot?

Yes, I regularly get my Asia Miles tracked and credited this way. It's like clicking through a shopping portal like Topcashback, Shopback, or BA Shopping Portal.

But the crediting takes place a couple of months after the original purchase, it isn't immediate.

Just be aware redeposit is not an activity, only ticketing is.

Buy a fully flexible premium economy class ticket like HKG-TPE using cash plus miles then refund it.

I suppose the refund hack still works, same as pandemic.

I got mixed up with another case whose miles has expired, and was reinstated with the explicit condition the miles must be used in redemption.
