World of Winners Japan

Six hours after opening the site for ex-Japan departures, they now have over 250,000 entries (for 12,000 tickets). Results will come via email in 2 weeks.
The window is open for a week, so at least there is no queue to sign up for it.

I just checked and while there is no wait, it says "Your queue number: 495,878" which means pretty slim odds...still a few more days to go for registration too.

UO still is offering a lot of "free" seats from their smaller outports such as OKA.

When the taxes are 23k yen (15k of which being 'carrier surcharge'), its no wonder they aren't selling despoite such a low quota.

At first I thought that was Okayama, which is actually within driving distance for me.

I'm not sure about free seats, but I see promo prices of 8,490 one way, but suspect that rises a lot with taxes. Google flights shows a low of 15,000 one way.
