New JV between CZ and BA

After entering into codeshare agreement with CZ, BA just signed an extensive JV.

It may be that CX is blocking CZ membership in OW, but BA, AA and QR are finding ways around it.
This JV should divert BA pax flying to China from CX.

Global alliances are clearly getting less important with all these strategic codeshares and JV.
In some ways JV provide a stronger link as there is some cost/revenue sharing.

And reduces competition as they coordinate pricing.
