Attila123, glad you enjoyed the new J, you are very lucky indeed, they changed the aircraft at the last minute.

With regards to not being assured that you'll get the new J everytime you fly, you've got to understand that no matter what airline you fly, when they roll out a new product, it'll take some time for them to refurbish their whole fleet, and this can take a bit of time. In the meantime, hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get more of the new aircrafts!

I'll tell you when I'm in Seoul, go for coffee http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

p.s. I'll be going to Rome on the 28th of Feb, it looks like its still the 343 http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

BTW, any recommendations for places to eat out in Rome?

I was told by lax that the 1:25 pm flight

has the new J class seats. Also you

can upgrade on any coach fare to biz

for 900 dollars not bad.

I only transit Rome to the Middle East so I don't stay there though--

I can say though they have excellent cappucino in the airport cafe where CX departs from (Gate C-26).. It is better than the cappucino in the Business Class lounge downstairs. Also they have a quite a good duty free in that airport--

Flying Pig (or anyone else)

Can you please tell me how to get the tail numbers before the planes depart to know if it is the new configuration or not?

Thanks
