ill effects from "Time to Win"

I would like to seek some advices for my encounter. First of all, I would like to declare that I am not against with "Time to Win". It must be that. However, what I see is the campaign has been distorted from its original purpose.
For my situation, a senior management lure us to violate the current financial auditing procedures, in achieving productivity increase (one of the 4 pillars in this campaign). Of course, management will not offer a black&white consent on this. Therefore we politely refuse this suggestion using financial control's reply.
Unexpectedly, we are questioned why we share this idea with audit team. We are advised to skip the procedures in dark. It really terrifies us that the words come from such high level management. Perhaps we are a local airline, and the working culture becomes more Chinese style 陽奉陰違. (I can't find a explicit translation for this idiom)
If we do not follow the order, it seems losing our career prospect. If we follow such idea, it may not only harm company profit , but also lose our jobs and integrity.
Thank you God for this challenge to us.

I feel like this is a very nuanced subject.

I'm always amused at the views taken by the guys on PPRuNe
These would be on "Time to Win"
The Fragment Harbour guys are quite the vocal bunch.

Financial control is not internal audit? Think your senior management is trying to intimidate.

I trust you're not a qualified accountant yourself? If you are you should well know the consequences if caught.

If not, the consequences are not so clear. It's a sackable offence, even tho I doubt cops will be called in (NOT a lawyer BTW). But do you do it anyway? I leave you with this http://johntreed.com/blogs/john-t-re...n-terms-part-1 , a relevant piece about lying in the US Army

Actually there's slight difference Controls are in place to prevent irregularities happen, internal audit is to review such controls to ensure they are effective... But both are in place to ensure everything is in compliance

Actually there's so little info that I can offer any suggestion.... But if you think the thing is serious enough that it violated code of conduct of senior management, as a listed company you can file a report with Stock Exchange... Or send those info to Fruit Daily / Because Daily

Edit: Internally get it resolved? If the senior management is asking you to circumvent internal control, I can't think of any possibility that internally they would care.... If you see Swire as internal, write to Swire Board MIGHT work...

I'm saying there is a difference. OP went to financial control who rendered advice that what [senior] management proposed is not in compliance with CX's productivity measurement procedures.

OP may or may not have mentioned this is on the suggestion of the [senior] management.

OP can go to internal audit too and probably get the same result. But going to IA can be a lot more serious and may trigger disciplinary consequences for either the [senior] management or OP, depending whether IA found culpable behaviour on the [senior] management's part.

Hi guys, thanks for yr sharing. Well, I am definitely not a qualified accountant, however I can imagine the consequences of that.
At beginning, I thought that we might lose career prospect if we didn't follow the idea. It may be wrong or not grounded enough because management will not ask prospected one for this wretched action.
Someone suggest me reporting to media. Personally I think it betrays to company, even though it do not treat me well. As result, I will not compromise with that... and look for other internal position. Good luck for my successor

Is the insinuation here CX management is encouraging some type of fraud? That is certainly information CXs shareholders and regulators should be aware of...no?

QRC3288: OP only mentioned internal metrics. So no regulators iwll be involved. Even shareholders will hardly be able to get a foot into complain about this.
