It took almost 11 months for my MH flights to post to my MPC!!!!! I took two segments; PNH-KUL and KUL-LAX. It barely posted to my account today!!!!!! The good thing was the miles count for my new qualifying year. :p

lingua101 Jan 18, 2014 7:01 pm

Any idea if I can submit missing claim via email instead of fax?

What is the email i should use? [email protected]?

UPDATE: Three of my flights (PEK-KUL on 19/12 and KUL-BLR on 23/12 in Z class, and KUL-PEN in Discount Y on 23/12) posted, but the three returns (PEN-KUL, BLR-KUL and KUL-PEK) have yet to post.

Strangely the PEN-KUL flight in Discount Y on 19/12 has yet to post, but hopefully later this week the three remaining MH flights will post. Fingers-crossed!

My HKG-KUL-MEL, ADL-KUL-HKG in December was posted 2 days ago. It took 4 weeks. Back in October, I flew HKG-KUL-FRA and return, it took 2 weeks. And another time, HKG-KUL-HKG, I have to send my original boarding pass to CX after 6 weeks and another 2 weeks for them to post. All were in Z class.

lingua101 Jan 23, 2014 2:43 am

Submitted my 3 missing flights 3 days ago via theclub email. Yesterday I got email form them saying they are checking with MH and saw it on my MPC account.

Just wonder, in this case, who will pay who? Will MH needs to pay CX as I took MH flight and credited to CX account? or the other way around?

bigintangibles Jan 23, 2014 10:11 am

OK, virtually all my MH miles have posted (Only 86 miles of KUL-PEN left). Dates of travel v. date of posting below, if its of help to anyone.

PEK-KUL (19/12) (18/01)
KUL-PEN (19/12) (N/A)
PEN-KUL (23/12) (18/01)
KUL-BLR (23/12) (18/01)
BLR-KUL (03/01) (23/01)
KUL-PEK (03/01) (23/01)

So about 3-4 weeks to post, in my case. All travel was in Z-class, except KUL-PEN-KUL which was discount Y, if that helps.

Of course MH needs to pay CX in this case.

the last flight was rejected, the reason is "We are unable to find your membership name on the flight passenger list."

how can this be? i had submitted the boarding pass woth my name and i did flew that flight. how can they said they cannot find my membership name in the list?

what can i do now?

Edited: I just notice the BP does not have my MPC number. is that the issue and now i cannot claim the miles, although i have it on the reservation and the other 3 flights are ok?

You can still claim the miles. Call MPO if things don't get resolved.

They keep telling me membership name is not on the passenger list

Try asking them "so who was sitting at ___ [your seat #] then??"

Giving them your BN # helps too. It's not that try to track which pax was on a flight...

Does the TKT name match your membership name (exact same order)?

yes absolutely. otherwise, how can the other 3 flights got posted?

I have issue with my KUL-BKK ticket on TG posted to SQ. I bought the ticket last minute at airport (due to ET screw up). While waiting for the flight, I notice, the agent issued the boarding post in wrong oder. Last Name become First Name and vv.

The next day, I called SQ, and they told me to straight away claim missing miles and attached the boarding pass and ticket. The day after that, the flight was posted. It is very efficient. Not like CX/MH

Today I got an email from MPC saying they will validate again with MH.

CanucksHKG, yes, I will follow your suggestion if they still do not post it and asked them who was sitting on 5C with SEQ# 081 and will see what they will say....

The BN# (SEQ) is on BP and I did email them the BP.

lingua101 Feb 10, 2014 11:53 pm

Since I am in HKG, I called MPC and asked about my DXB-KUL status. They told me that the message they got from MH is "no show".

I told her, how can it be no show if I had the BP. She said she needs to retrieve the BP I sent to MPC via email and send the query to MH.

It seems to me it is quite "hard" for her to retrieve the email :)

lingua101 Feb 11, 2014 12:38 am

Just got a call back from this nice MPC girl. She said she managed to find my BP and credited that flight. I checked into my account, yes that DXB-KUL flight has been credited now. I think MPC should learn to be more efficient.

Glad it got all sorted out! Curious, which MPO line...English?

Yes English line. The girl name is Olga, not sue if she is Filipino though. I cannot tell if she is Filipino or HK. She does not have strong Canto accents but also don't have strong Tagalog accents also.

I still get another 4 flights on MH on processing now.

I calle MPO on Sunday. I am very sure I press English but the girl who picked up the call speak to me in Canto.

lingua101 Feb 26, 2014 1:46 am

This is getting crazy.

I submitted another 4 missing flights on MH SIN-KUL-KCH-KUL-SIN on 24 and 26 Jan on C.

Today I saw the claims were updated form "Processing" to "Reject". The reason is "Flight mileage has already been credited to another reward programme."

I do not know if CX even bother to see the BPs that I have sent to them. It is clearly printed my MPC number there...

I do not know who is the stupid one. CX or MH.

I guess I will not credit any MH flights anymore to CX.

Trying to call MPC (IDD), always got busy line. I have tried 10 times now

bluetus04 Feb 26, 2014 4:54 am

Yes this is very annoying. I had a 4-segment trip on MH late-Nov/early-Dec last year SIN-KUL-HKG-KUL-SIN. Three of the segments got credited the week after that but the 3rd segment (HKG-KUL) was missing. Waited for about a month and filed a missing miles request. It has been sitting as "Processing" for 3 weeks now. I hope it won't get changed to "Reject".

This makes me think again if I want to fly MH if I need the club miles a couple months close to renewal.

I hope you won't get a reply like "you are not in the passenger list" like that told me before.

What annoyed me, I did send the BPs when I submited my missing miles form. I do not understand when MH got back to them and telling them "The flight has been credited into other programme", can't they first check the BPs that I have sent to them.

How can the flights be posted to other programme when the ticket and BPs clearly showing my MPC number.

I did managed to talked to the agent about 4pm today and he asked me to resent the email and he said he will follow up. Just before midnights I got an email from [email protected] telling me that 4 flights were rejected for the reason I mentioned.

I straight away gave MPC a call and the agent told me that they have not received the BPs. And he keeps suggesting that may be I did not put my MPC number or my name is not match exactly. I slammed him because he was taking rubbish as I know exactly what I am doing.

This is really a mess. How can after 1 year, there seems no integration between MH and CX. What frustrated me, CX also never check before they do the rejection.

Anyone has Linda Sim email?

Will I see the same mess if I fly QR and post it to CX?

I am really considering to open MH Enrich account now, as it seems "easier" to get the elite status.

This is indeed a pig's breakfast, because I am having almost the exact same experience with two MH flights I took in late-Jan/early-Feb (on KUL-HKG and TPE-KUL in business class). They were not credited into my CX account and when I followed up with a missing mileage request, they showed up as rejected because the flights had been "credited into another programme". I called MPC to complain and highlighted the fact that my CX number was clearly printed on the boarding passes, but received an email back today confirming the rejection.

Should I be following up with MH now? This is getting ridiculous.

cxauhk Feb 26, 2014 9:22 pm

Time for MH flights to post?

Curious - has anyone had success in automatic posting of all their legs? I'm going to take MH in Z in a few weeks with 4 legs because of transit.

Called them. Ask them to ask MH which programme it has been posted and how can it be when the MPC number printed there.

As far as I know, if your MPC number printed there, it can only go to MPC. I stands to be corrected. I told them, I do not have any other programme in OW.

The mess can be on MH side. But as I just said in my reply email to MPC (cc Linda Sim), I expect CX to do some due dilligent. When MH came back with this stupid reasons (has been posted into other programme), shouldn't they check the BP first?

Every time I called, they keep asking for the BP. I told them the BPs have been sent together with missing miles form. I thought they stated in the form that BPs need to be sent?

No idea, tell you my stat
2 trips = 8 flights (due to connecting in KUL). All in J.

only 1 flight posted directly into MPC without any intervention.
7 missing flights, when I claimed, only 2 successfully posted without the need of "arguing" with CX.

And to me this is just a normal flight.

Far from experience with SQ. I have 1 flight with ET which is missing, because ET said my CC fails. But SQ managed to post it (because I have the BP and ticket), although it takes quite sometimes.

Absolutely, I can't agree more. But I do have a long redundant MH Enrich account, and on the off-chance the miles get credited there (though I can't imagine how), I called MH today to check. They confirmed there hadn't been anything credited into my Enrich account. So I guess it's now back to the MPC ...

What I suspect "that progamme" the MH is referring to is indeed CX MPC as per stated on the BP.

Yes, actually. I took 2 trips with MH last year:

1st trip in Nov, SIN-KUL-SIN
- whole trip got posted automatically within a week

2nd trip in Nov/Dec, SIN-KUL-HKG-KUL-SIN
- 3 segments got posted automatically within a week or so, but 1 segment missing up till now

So lucky most of my segments were posted automatically and my experience has been much better than the mess others are going through.

I certainly hope not. I called MPO line last night out of curiosity and it's like:
- let me check your record.....
- she asked me if my MPO# was added after the trip. I said no as it was clearly printing on the BP I sent in. No direct acknowledge from her and I wonder if the system didn't have a scanned copy of BP I sent in
- she said the inquiry was sent to MH but there was no response at all
- she also said from the system, she cannot see my original itinerary and need MH to send them the info. But I sent in a copy of the eTicket in the request! Again seems like they don't have a scanned copy of what I sent in
- she acknowledges it's a problem and the request should not be hanging there for weeks without resolution.

I would say the agent was very nice and promised to put in a "request" to kick it off and get it resolved. But I wonder if CX actually stores a copy of what I sent over before they just forward them over to MH. It sounds common from experience of others posters that CX can't make an intelligent decision because they don't have enough information (because they don't store them when they pass through their hands)??

Remember to keep a copy of your BPs when you send in the originals !

Its not only MH- I find MPC to err many times when trying to credit anything other than CX/KA flights.

errr I hope you keep a copy of your BP.

I never agree to send the original. That's why I asked them if I can just email to. I scanned it and email them. I dunno what happen if I sent the original.

I just got a call from The MPC Team Lead. Very appologetic. And told me in the future I can ask my email to be referred to her.

Thanks for the concern! Yes I kept a scanned copy of the BP.

I initially thought of faxing in the request and BP and keeping the original as well. But back in my mind, I thought they'll probably do nothing, until I call later and tell me they can't do nothing and need the original BP as that's the rule. And that would be another 8 more weeks of turnaround so I might as well do it according to the books.

lingua101, do you mind sharing the name of the MPC Team Lead (through private message please since I think it's wrong to post somebody's name in public) just in case if my request goes downhill, I can request to deal with someone higher up? Thanks!

If you can fax it over to them, you can buy Toto/4D and you may strike.

I tried to fax it over, but their fax machine is always busy until the fax machine gave up.

Same issue when I tried to fax it over from my HKG office. The fax machine again gave up as the line is always busy.

I told this also to the Team Lead. PM me for the name

How can MH be OW partner???
