B-HOS left for Moses lake on 12/6. Next two 747s to go within this year would be B-HKF and HUA. :(

I, for one, will miss the 747 (it seems the 747-8 isn't catching on) as more and more airlines are retiring them. They are lovely aircraft -- and the first plane I ever flew on in 1971. I really wish airlines would go with the B747 over the A380. I'm on a 744 between HKG and LHR in a week or so in UD. Looking forward to it!

A 747 still looks elegant after 40 years. An A380 looks like, umm an inflated condom with wings. I'm hoping the 747-8 will make it into several airlines longhaul fleet. |
