Someone clearly must have done a very bad job of cleaning if mucus/luggy wasn't cleaned up.

Actually it was on another airline. NW. But I was making a point. Issues like this should not be fussed about. It was on the armrest and it sucks that I used my bare hands to wipe it off. Gross. As far as on CX, probablly just stains on the table, and missed crumbs. That's about it.

I know I'm late to the post, but having just seen the picture, the idea of compensation for that IS laughable.:D

It's the compensation culture creeping in for any slight - imagined, or real.
