KVS Tool Cathay Accuracy?

I've used KVS in the past with mostly success in booking Cathay flights, but all of a sudden I'm reaching an wall. I'm looking for a single F ticket from SFO-HKG and I just got through compiling TEN dates that showed availability via KVS, American Airlines showed none of the dates as being available.

Is anyone else having an issue? I use the standard OW search, not the BA search.

Don't know. You can check for availability through CX's Asia Miles website.

What are the flights/dates in question?

Please see also the CX Award Availability Interpretational Guidelines in the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/catha...l#post15886718 thread.

The KVS Tool provides CX Award Availability via 3 (soon increasing to 4) user-selectable data sources, including CX AM.

KVS has been mostly accurate but sometimes it says 2 seats are available when AA and BA can only see 1.

I am, same problem. I've been using the OneWorld method, as I understand that there are seats which CX makes available only to its own members. In the past, the OW method has been 100% on. I'm looking for September 25, 1 F seat on 830, HKG-JFK. It's been showing available in KVS with OW method for over a week; but AA says it's not there.

We will soon be introducing an additional (4th) engine for CX Award Availability to address this issue.

A Beta sign-up link is located on the KVS Tool Homepage (http://www.KVSTool.com/).

As can be seen from its results below, there is actually no F Award Availability on 25 Sep:

[KVS Availability Tool 6.4.9901/Diamond - Axess: Awards/JL-OneWorld]
Code:

You can also get access to the data today by using the Oneworld award search on JL or using the AwardNexus.com UI to the JL award search for free.
